Mobile Learning

Our design approach involves learning methodologies to engage people in a generative dialogue, tapping into the collective intelligence and creativity of their peers and their organization at large.

We see every learner as a leader who possesses the ability to access his or her curiosity to learn and to initiate a transformative process on a personal, group and/or organizational level. Learning is the facilitation of this process and cultivates ownership of the transformation. Our designs are modeling what is expected of every learner and leader in the current environment. It is not so much about consuming learning from “someone who knows” or any other source but to own and co-shape the learning. Our participant centric learning approach invites self-authorization/self-responsibility, commitment and accountability for impact.

With this approach in mind, we weave in experiential learning elements to our design that help facilitate the learning, such as:

  • Experiential activities
  • Case study discussions
  • Simulations
  • Peer coaching
  • LXP leverage for self-organized discussion groups
  • Learning transfer activities
  • Check-in discussions with manager

Design Evaluation

Essentially, evaluation occurs after the delivery of the solution; its only goal is to ensure that the chosen and implemented actions met participants’ intended objections. It can be completed through re-surveying and assessing the target audience, reviewing program evaluations or pre- and post-tests, conducting interviews, observing employees’ behavior on the job, and debriefing pilot sessions.

Pilot Delivery & Implementation

Initial offerings and pilots are critical events in the success of project design and long-term sustainability. We focus on pilot success by planning to review and address needs in four key areas:

Program Content

  • Can participants relate to and apply what is being covered?
  • Is the focus on the most important content?
  • What tangents came up that should be covered?

Learning Methodology

  • Is the variety of methodology appropriate?
  • Was the method selected the best for the audience and content?

Facilitator Performance

  • Did the facilitation team have proper preparation?
  • What facilitation skills will ensure consistent success?

Implementation

  • What needs to be in place for large-scale implementation?
  • Is there a way to further streamline implementation and coordination?
