Team Development Programs

Creativity & Innovation

Most individuals associate creativity with those in “artistic” fields rather than in the business world. Creativity in the business world results in improvements, new products, problems solved, and improved change resilience in the employee population.

This skill-based program breaks creativity into usable and, most importantly, learnable components. Managers, supervisors, leaders, and individual contributors can implement an entire creativity process with a team or work independently to generate new ideas and solve problems.

Each participant works on a group project and a “real life” project from the workplace. Everyone learns that creativity is an important part of business growth and customer satisfaction in the workplace.

Developing Cultural Intelligence

Individuals at all levels of organizations face unique challenges when working in multi-national and multi-cultural teams. They must decode the complex and often confusing dynamics that affect their ability to share information, gain support, and accomplish work – regardless of where that work is happening or who it is happening with.

Through this program, participants gain an understanding of the elements of culture that are always at play when interacting with others – and how to best adapt their approach to create a collaborative, respectful and productive outcome.

Strategic Team Alignment

Three levels represent the key elements that will eventually lead to Team Alignment:

  • Team Dynamics – Where do we come from / Where are we now?
  • Team Purpose – Where do we want to be / What do we stand for?
  • Team  Processes – How do we get there?
Exploring Trust & Collaboration

In any organization, the layer of culture that is about beliefs and unwritten rules defines how people work together. They either support or hinder trust and collaboration. However, in most organizations, they are not brought to light and openly discussed. Stories emerging from people’s experiences working in teams offer a good source for uncovering these unwritten rules.

The process of listening to each other’s stories reinforces inclusion. Leaders and team members can address patterns that offer an opportunity to foster trust and collaboration.

Team Effectiveness

When a team is working well, productivity is high and interactions between team members run smoothly; collaboration moves projects forward. When team members don’t recognize and manage personal preferences and adapt to their team members’ needs, it can be challenging. Opposing personalities and working styles have the potential to drain team effectiveness–but also to be leveraged for better team harmony and collaboration.

In this program, teams learn how to recognize and use knowledge of DISC to work more effectively with others. Participants discover different ways to adapt to styles to bring more results for the team.
